More about - TEMO – The Thermal Panel Experts

Our thermal panels help block room-side warm air and humidity from reaching the cooler foundation wall, where it can produce condensation. This combination of warmth and water can harvest mold.

Our thermal core barrier is 100 percent moisture resistant, non-organic and also self-extinguishes in case of fire. Perfect.

We’ve got your back with a mold-resistant panel backer

The basement can be an ideal space for moisture and mold. Mold is most likely to grow on or near your foundation wall. Our exclusive panel backer provides a powerful sentry, right where you need it. Our panel backer can be found no where else. It is 100 percent non-organic, 100 percent moisture resistant and it is manufactured with Microban® antimicrobial product protection, the leading antimicrobial brand in the industry. This combination gives you triple resistance against mold.

Strong walls – just like upstairs

Our solid panel face, solid thermal core and solid panel backer means that your finished walls are strong enough to stand up to the way real people live. You can lean on it, like any other wall in your home, and actually let the kids downstairs to play.

Installation matters too

Designer Basements panels are installed away from the wall for important air circulation. This allows natural evaporation to occur and helps keep the foundation wall dry, preventing conditions that can promote mold growth. The space between the foundation wall and the thermal panel also provides an additional thermal barrier.

Our exclusively designed hanging rail and base track installation system mean there are no external studs required to install your panels. Panels are attached at the top and bottom. This system, which includes an integrated electrical raceway in the base track, keeps the panels and electrical off the floor in case of accidental water intrusion. The panels are self-leveling for smooth, straight walls and allow simple panel removal for access to the foundation wall if needed.

All that, and beauty too

The beauty – literally – of Designer Basements is the world of color and pattern options that have never been available before in a basement finish panel. You get a designer look for a sophisticated, appealing space. And, we’ve done the work for you with décor that’s pre-applied.

Our invisible seam connection means our panels form walls that look smooth and unbroken – like your walls in the rest of your home. And, there’s no dealing with mudding, sanding and surface preparation steps like drywall. Plus with Designer Basement panels, you can hang pictures, a clock, a TV or shelves and more – just like upstairs.
